Happy Lord's day!

It's Sunday and of course our crew was up bright and early.  So much for sleeping in this summer. Sundays are hard days.  Not because we don't love Jesus but because we do.  Although Walker is a very laid back baby he doesn't sleep just anywhere.  He loves his bed (or pack and play), his carseat and his Granna and Dada.  That's the only places this kid will sleep.  He's just too nosey to sleep other places so that makes Sundays hard.  We have a longer drive to and from church and then by the time we have class and service, he is worn out.  We usually don't make it through both class and service with him so someone takes him out and fights him to go to sleep.  I finally put him in his carseat today and left the doors of the van open and he slept for about 20 minutes.  Better than nothing but we are all exhausted.  We are thankful he is taking a good nap at home now.  Unfortunately Walker has been sick for the last few days with a fever virus so we haven't been out to be around the kids for the last few days. I told you that Walker was a celebrity which means that they love to touch him...and his hands :(   We will probably have to stop that because his hands then go directly into his mouth  See photo below!

His fingers are his paci so there is no hope for the germs not coming straight to him.  Thankfully it only lasted a few days so we are on the mend. He loved his momma extra during this time which is both a blessing and a curse!

Here is a picture of Walker's cousin, Weston.  He does the same thing!

This is Eric Lewis but people call him Dupree.  Before we left, Jo Anne told us about a man that has been corresponding with Alicia Montgomery through World Bible School.  She wanted us to look him up so she gave us his address.  The other afternoon we went on a mission to find him and realized he lives in an older folks home.  We pull up to the place and this man is sitting outside.  Will mentions that he is the guy we've been seeing at church so he goes up to ask him if he knows Eric Lewis.  Turns out he is Eric Lewis!  It was so crazy that we were going to look up this person that has been communicating with someone at CrossPoint and we've been sitting beside him at church for the last 2 weeks!!

Bible story time after school last week

Walker really misses having a bath tub but this will have to do for the summer! He gets so excited when it's time for a sink bath.

This sweet little face is one that Will captured 2 years ago on the Antigua video that he made from our time at soccer/VBS.  He recognized him at school the other day so they took a picture together.

Lizzie made these drawings in Kindergarten

"I am going to Antigua for three months so we can teach people about Jesus".  She gets it!

Tomorrow we are thankful and grateful for all the veterans who gave their lives for our freedom.  Although the Antiguans won't be celebrating this American holiday we don't want to forget those who fought and who currently fight for our nation.

3 2 1...Go!
